Each spatula is carefully wood burned by hand, leaving the artwork permanently imprinted into the wood.
The spatula measures 12 inches by 2 1/2 inches.
Wooden utensils are essential for every kitchen. They don't get hot like metal, contain any chemicals like plastic or rubber, and only get better with age.
Care instructions: Hand wash with soap and water, dry completely. Avoid dishwashers and soaking. Oil when dry with wood butter or food grade mineral oil.
Copper & Ash Studio is the work of Amy Boulant. She is a California artist specializing in Pyrography (the ancient art of writing with fire) and Watercolor. Much of her work is influenced by her childhood home in the Sierra Nevada foothills of California. Her hope is that her kitchen tools serve as a reminder that the greatest pleasure and joy in life is often found in the most simplistic, mundane moments, such as sharing a great meal with people you love.
